Good Sunday morning, friends and neighbors. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
Personally, I took advantage of an unexpected night off to do a whole bunch of nothing. Well, I did watch something like 10 episodes of M*A*S*H* yesterday, and the boss and I watched Deadpool 2 last night. And today's laundry day. So I'm not being completely unproductive.
Of course, it's also prime time for sinus infections- so, yep. I've got that going on, too. Whoo-hoo!

SyFy was running Wrong Turn this morning. If you're unfamiliar, it's basically a ripoff of The Hill Have Eyes- except it's set in West Virginia instead of Arizona. And unlike Wes Craven's original- it's not particularly good.
Still, it's funny/odd that SyFy would also run- inside one of the commercial breaks during the movie- that Subaru commercial where the people are looking for the "point trail" or whatever and take the creepy old blind man from the general store in the middle of nowhere that they've never met before to "guide" them.
Then again, that's pretty much a sequel idea for them right there.

In her upcoming (second) autobiography, Tina Turner says her husband was the donor for the kidney she received via transplant in 2016.
Turner writes that her husband, Erwin Bach, "shocked me by saying that he wanted to give me one of his kidneys" and that she was "overwhelmed by the enormity of his offer."
Tina Turner: My Love Story is set to be released October 15th.
In an interview released today, Turner told the Mail that her former husband, Ike, forced her to watch a live sex show their wedding night.
She called the experience "so disturbing" that she "suppressed it, scratched it out."
"People can't imagine the kind of man he was- a man who takes his brand new wife to a live, pornographic sex show right after their marriage ceremony," she said.
She also said she was afraid to turn down Turner's marriage proposal- who was seven years her senior. The couple split in 1976 and their divorce was finalized in 1978.

Zac and Shelly Brown have told People magazine that they were splitting up.
In a statement, the couple said they were "blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple. We have led a whirlwind life together growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there."
"This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect, and care for each other are what we are moving forward with."
The couple have five children.

Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly have announced plans to open a free grocery store in Nashville where community members in need can shop.
The Paisleys have started the non-profit, called "The Store," with the help of Brad’s alma-mater, Belmont University, which provided the land for the project. The store will be set up like to a food bank, and will provide fresh produce and nonperishables. Customers will be able to shop at the store for free for one year.
Paisley told the Tennessean that the venture will be "a grocery store with dignity for people who have fallen on hard times. All of us are one unforeseen disaster away from rock bottom. It’s nice to think about a place where when that happens to someone, they can use it to get back on their feet."
