Good Thursday evening, friends. Hope you all survived the Hurricane/Tropical Storm Michael with little to no trouble. All's clear here.

Seriously... this looks phenomenal.

Amy Winehouse is coming back to a stage near you- sort of. Winehouse will be the latest dead celebrity to get the the hologram treatment after the announcement that Base Hologram has signed an agreement with the Winehouse estate for a 2019 world tour. Base promises digitally remastered arrangements Winehouse's vocals, but a live band and backup singers.
Winehouse's father, Mitch, calls the tour a "dream."
"To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words. Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way."

Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled the final four shows of his North American farewell tour due to hand surgery.
Of course, being Ozzy and not remembering how farewells actually work, he says he'll reschedule the shows for next year. (I kid- the next leg of the tour is scheduled to begin in Europe in January.)

Lindsay Buckingham, who says he "remains deeply surprised and saddened" over his exit from Fleetwood Mac, has filed suit against the band over his firing.
Buckingham told Rolling Stone that Irving Azoff, the band's manager, told him Stevie Nicks "never wants to be on a stage with (Buckingham) again," while Us Weekly reports that Buckinham's personal manager told the guitarist that Fleetwood Mac "would proceed with its ... concert tour without him" and that "not a single member of the band" had spoken to Buckingham about the decision, directly.
Buckingham admits in his suit that he asked the band to consider delaying the current tour so that he could promote his solo album- which he then agreed to delay to accommodate the band.
Buckingham is suing his former bandmates for "fiduciary duty, breach of oral contract and intentional interference with prospective economic advantage."
A spokesperson for the band said they couldn't "offer comment on a legal complaint they have not seen" but added "(it's) fairly standard legal procedure to service the complaint to the parties involved, something that neither Mr. Buckingham nor his legal counsel have done. Which makes one wonder what the true motivations are when servicing press first with a legal complaint before the parties in disputes."
Considering the band's contentious history, I'm guessing this one's going to get a lot uglier before it's resolved.
