The man convicted of stalking Lana Del Rey- including showing up outside her Orlando concert with a knife- has reportedly been sentenced to a year in prison after taking a plea deal. Court records indicate weapons and aggravated stalking charges against the man were dropped after he pleaded no contest to a stalking charge.

A Philadelphia songwriter has been awarded more than $44 million in damages after successfully arguing that he was cut out of profits and credit for the song Bad Girl, recorded by Usher.
Daniel Marino had filed the suit against William Guice and Dante Martin- but not against Usher. Marino claimed to have created most of the song, including its guitar hook, tempo, and chord progression.
The jury in the case ordered Guice to to pay $6.75 million in compensatory damages and $20.25 million in punitive damages, while Barton and his Destro Music Productions company agreed to pay $17.35 million.

Godsmack has postponed their upcoming European tour after guitarist Tony Rombola’s son passed away last Tuesday.
Singer/guitarist Sully Erma wrote on the band's website that it was "(with his) deepest regrets, and on behalf of our guitarist Tony and his wife Sue, I am personally writing this message to all of our fans worldwide to inform you that Tony and his family have suffered a loss that no parent should ever have to endure."
"We appreciate all of your patience, prayers and support in this very trying time.  I promise you, we ARE coming back bigger and stronger in the beginning of 2019, and we WILL honor all of these tour dates in Europe and across this globe. So be ready!"

Blink 182's Travis Barker has been medically cleared to perform after being treated for blood clots in both his arms. The band had been forced to cancel their Las Vegas residency after Barker’s condition was diagnosed after a tou bus accident in July. 
Barker is suing the bus driver and the bus company over the incident, along with a Santa Monica medical center, who Barker claims used contaminated needles while treating him for accident-related injuries, causing a staph infection.
