Headline on Facebook: Jefferson Airplane Recall Woodstock: A New Dawn - Best Classic Bands
Call me crazy, but I have serious doubts that anyone who was at Woodstock actually "recalls" much- if anything- about Woodstock.

Wingstop has been fined for labor law violations at five franchise locations in Mississippi, including forcing employees to pay for their own uniforms, training, and background checks, covering till shortages from their own pocket (bringing their pay below minimum wage), and breaching child labor laws by allowing a 15-year-old employee to repeatedly work past 10pm.
The fine amounted to $114,427 in back wages, damages, and civil penalties, according to a report from Pitchfork.
Why am I telling you this on a site that's (mostly) focused on music?

Ya know, I was interested in the "new" Addams Family-adjacent series Wednesday. The operative word there is "was." Yes, past tense because the last Tim Burton project I can remember actually thinking was good was Sleepy Hollow.

Rapper Young Thug is being sued up after he was a no-show at his scheduled June concert at Philips State Farm Arena in Atlanta after being arrested shortly before the show.
Concert promoter A-1 Concert Entertainment claimed in court filings that they have yet to receive a refund of the $150,000 they advanced the performer for the show, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"Due to his arrest and the nature of the felony criminal charges against Williams, it was immediately apparent in May 2022 that he would not be able to perform as required in the agreement," the suit alleges. "To date, A-1 Concert has not received any reimbursement of the $150,000 owed to it."

(This story is the fault of a friend who posted on Facebook a meme showing a very small patch of grass that was obviously separating two individual property's driveways where one person had mowed their 2' x 6' patch and left the neighbor's half long and shitty looking. The meme read something like "don't be this guy.")
For a time in Savannah, I lived in a condo/townhouse where four units shared one building. I would usually cut the grass in front of the whole building because there really wasn't that much lawn- and I always had to go borrow the lawnmower from my mom's house, anyway. I did that for three summers (I think), until a completely inconsiderate shitheel of a neighbor into the unit next to mine.
Whenever this neighbor was home, they'd keep the volume of their TV loud enough for me to hear it- clearly- over my own TV. I *tried* to be a good neighbor. I stopped them the next day when I saw them and mentioned it to them, and asked them if they wouldn't mind "keeping it down." When it happened on New Year's Eve, I was pissed. But I knocked- calmly- on the front door in an attempt to ask them to please lower the volume. Their was no answer.
I knocked a little more firmly. Still no answer. I then basically punched the door. Still no answer. I called the police. The neighbor ignored them, too- until the officer started smacking the door with their billy club, and announced that they were going to enter whether the door was voluntarily opened or not (they'd announced themselves as officers numerous times from the time they arrived). Said neighbor finally came to the door and was cited for disturbing the peace.
I also called the landlord the next day to let him know. He was apologetic and said he'd speak with the tenant. It got less annoying- for a bit.
I then found out- quite by accident- that this person also often leave their three children- all under 11- at home alone, over night. That because the children- having a parent who was an inconsiderate fuckwit who wasn't actually doing any parenting- awakened me at 2am while having some sort of professional-wrestling-inspired free-for-all in the bedroom that shared a wall with mine. It seriously sounded like they were going to come through the wall and end up on the bed with me. When I went out and knocked on the door to complain, the oldest daughter actually answered the fucking door! When I asked where the parent was, the answer was "they ain't here". I asked the small young woman her age and she said "11." I restrained myself, but said "don't you know you shouldn't open the door to strangers???"
She looked at me like I was a crazy person (but then, why did you answer the fucking door???). I told her that she and her little brothers needed to be quiet, that I didn't want to hear any more sounds from their place, and that she should close and lock the door. I went home and called the police and reported what happened. I then called their landlord (who was zero problem when he actually lived in the unit himself). I moved shortly after that- and before I got so pissed I did the parent bodily harm.
But yeah, I had zero fucking issue cutting three of the four lawns of the block and leaving theirs shit-looking.
