#WhatsHappening for May 6, 2019

Good Monday evening, friends. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
I know you did if you're a Disney stockholder- seeing as Avengers: Endgame racked up another fuckton of money, crossing the $2 billion threshold and moving into second place in all-time box office.
Have you seen it yet? Thoughts? (Me, I dug the hell out of it.)

The line up for this year's Austin City Limits Festival has been announced, and Guns N' Roses, Mumford & Sons, and Childish Gambino will headline the two-weekend event this October. Tickets are one sale now.

Speaking of festivals- there's still no definite word on whether or not Woodstock 50 is happening or not after the festival's primary backer pulled their support. Details in this Variety story.

Madonna announced today that she'd be playing a number of dates in "more intimate" venues as she opens her Madame X tour this fall.
The tour kicks off September 12 in New York at the Howard Gilman Opera House and will include stops in Chicago, LA, Las Vegas, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Lisbon, London, and Paris.
There's some complicated process for getting tickets underway now. I'm evidently too old or too stupid to understand it, though. I really hope she swings back this way, though. I missed my chance to see her about six years ago, thanks to my damned tonsils.
Madame X hits stores June 14.
