Hey, hi, howdy kids. Hope the week has sailed smoothly for you so far.
Me, my day job has been crazy busy. It's cyclical, though. So I guess I should enjoy it while I can, right? (I actually hate not having something to do at work.)

Coincidentally, that title perfectly describes my interest.

One way or another, there's going to be three full days of Woodstock coming your way this fall with Rhino Records' release of Woodstock 50- Back to the Garden-The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive that will feature 432 songs across 38 discs.
The discs will also include almost every song performed, all the festival's announcements, and all performances will be in chronological order. The only missing songs, according to Rolling Stone, are two Jimi Hendrix songs that his estate didn’t believe were high enough quality, and some of Sha Na Na's performance that wasn't recorded.
The set is expected to retail for around $800 list price edition- though it was also reported that there would be a 10 disc edition for folks who aren't in the mood to shell out a shit-ton of dinero.

Late Temptations singer David Ruffin is the latest Motown legend to have a street named after him in Detroit.
The Detroit City Council Tuesday approved a motion to give Parkside Street, where Ruffin lived during the 1970s and early '80s, a secondary name of David Ruffin Avenue.
The new street will be officially unveiled next month in a ceremony hosted by the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. A free concert celebrating Ruffin's musical legacy will be held after the ceremony.

The upcoming Quincy Jones show in London that was originally slated to be an orchestral performance of three Michael Jackson albums has been revamped and re-branded as a celebration of ’80s music in the wake of the Finding Neverland documentary.
Jones said in January, when the show was announced, that he "had an absolutely beautiful time celebrating my 85th birthday with all-a-y’awl in London at The O2 last year... It’s an absolute dream to present this music live, so I hope you’ll come join me for a hang-thang! It’s time to rock wit y’awl!"
Jones nor his representatives responded to requests for comments on the name change.
