Hey, hey, hey. How goes it, kids? Hope you got all your tricks and treats out of the way. I'd say send your extra candy my way, but we only had two groups stop by the karaoke compound last night- so I've already got a fuckton.

Chris Cornell's family has filed suit against the doctor they say overprescribed drugs to the late singer which directly led to his death. Cornell’s widow and the couple's children are named as plaintiffs in the suit filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The suit claims Dr. Robert Koblin and his Beverly Hills office "negligently and repeatedly" prescribed "dangerous mind-altering controlled substances to Chris Cornell which impaired Mr. Cornell’s cognition, clouded his judgment, and caused him to engage in dangerous impulsive behaviors that he was unable to control, costing him his life."
The suit focuses in particular on Koblin’s prescribing Cornell large amounts of Lorazepam, which they say led to his erratic behavior in the months leading up to his death. Coroners investigating Cornell's suicide by hanging say toxicology tests showed the presence of Ativan along with barbiturates, caffeine, the anti-opioid drug naloxone, and a decongestant- but the drugs themselves were not the cause of death.
The "unmonitored use of such excessive amounts of Lorazepam ... was known to increase the risk of suicide because it can severely impair judgment, thinking and impulse control and diminish the ability of a patient to think and act rationally," the lawsuit says.
The lawsuit seeks an unspecified amount of damages and names anonymous staffers at Koblin’s office as defendants.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina really needs to have Melissa Joan Hart do a cameo. That's basically all I know about the original show.

Wait, that's not true. I know it's based on a Archies comics' character.

The Mirror reports that the late George Michael will be honored with a star-studded tribute concert to mark what would have been his 56th birthday.
The show, scheduled for London’s O2 Academy Brixton on June 25, will include performances by former Wham! backup singer Shirley Lewis, and Deon Estus and Michael Brown- who performed with Michael's backing band. The show is being overseen by Chris Cameron, who was Michael’s musical director.
Lewis says the show began life as "a private event for the GM band and singers, for us to share a night together, in honour of a man and friend who we all miss terribly. George means so much to us and we haven’t been together since we heard that awful news on that Christmas day."
