Hey kids. I've been working around the karaoke compound this week.

Like this, but worse.

Shortly after we moved in (eight years ago), I took a pressure washer to the deck- and boy, did it look good. But- because I'm forgetful- I didn't stain, paint, or seal it (also, I'm a moron) so it looked pretty gnarly until around 9 last night, when I finally got done pressure washing it again. Now- do I paint, stain, or just seal? Anyone have an opinion?

Rolan Feld, son of T. Rex front-man Marc Bolan, has filed a copyright infringement suit against the folks behind Baby Driver, claiming they didn't secure the rights to use the band's song, Debora.

No, not that one.

Feld was granted the rights to 144 of his father's composition after a 2014 lawsuit where his attorneys argued that an old copyright rule vesting rights to an author's heirs when the author dies during the initial copyright term applied as Bolan died when his son was still an infant.

In this case, Feld's lawyers say Sony, Media Rights Capital, Bambino Films, and others "failed to obtain- or even seek- the permission of the composition’s U.S. copyright holder... (and) ...neither apologized nor offered to pay Feld a reasonable license fee."

LL Cool J has been named one of this year's Kennedy Center honorees- the first hip hop artist to be so honored.

The recipients, announced today, also include Gloria Estefan, Lionel Richie, television writer and producer Norman Lear, and dancer Carmen de Lavallade.

The honorees will be celebrated December 3rd, with the show being broadcast on CBS on December 26th.

Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five founding member Kidd Creole (Nathaniel Glover) has been accused of stabbing a homeless man to death. 

Police said Glover was walking near his place of employment in midtown Manhattan when he passed by the man- who he claims he thought was hitting on him- and the two began an argument which then led to the stabbing.

Glover being held pending an arraignment on a murder charge.
