Now these were some creepy vampires. |
I'm still used to the whole "working all day thing."
I mean, I've worked full time for as long as I can remember- but I haven't had a job where I still had to be at work at five pm in a very long time. I'm now on a 9-6 shift, though, so I'm still kind of going "huh?" when noon rolls by and it's not time for me to go home for the day (my previous shift was 3-noon).
I'll adapt.
I still don't care for sunlight, though.
Phil Collins has been forced to postpone his shows at Royal Albert Hall tonight and tomorrow night after suffering a fall in his hotel room last night.
Collins was hospitalized and being kept under observation for 24 hours after suffering a "severe gash" on his head.
In a statement on Collins' Facebook page, a spokesperson explained that the singer "suffers from 'drop foot' as a result of a back operation which makes it difficult to walk. He rose in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and slipped in his hotel room, hitting his head in the fall on a chair."
"He was taken to hospital where he had stitches for a severe gash on his head close to his eye and is recovering well. He will be kept under observation for 24 hours."
"Phil sends his sincere apologies and thanks to fans. He has had a fantastic week at his first shows in 10 years, cannot thank people enough for their warm reaction and is excited to return."
The shows have been rescheduled for November 26 and 27 this year, with all tickets for tonight's show valid for November 26 and all June 9 tickets valid for November 27.
Sunday's show in Cologne is still scheduled to go on Sunday night.
Twisted Sister has filed suit against Rock N Festivals, alleging that the company paid out only $50,000 of a promised $200,000 the band was due for headlining one of the three nights of The Rock Carnival in Lakewood, New Jersey, last year.
A spokesperson for the band called it "very disheartening" to have their tour end in such a manner.
Rock N Festivals claims that the weekend was marred by bad weather and that the company "suffered catastrophic economic losses" because of it, and that the impending washout was discussed with the band's agent- who agreed to alter the payment schedule.
Advertisements for the show assured patrons of a "rain or shine event" and stated that there would "be no refunds for The Rock Carnival."
