'Sup?
Once upon a time, I was a pretty devoted baseball fan. More specifically, I was a fan of the Braves.
They are no longer in Atlanta, though- I don't care what they say- because Cobb County is not Atlanta. It may be Atlanta-adjacent, it may be part of the metro area, but it is not Atlanta. So I switched my fandom to the Cubs (who were already my second-favorite team). Then, WGN pretty much stopped showing their games and.. well, screw it.
Anyway, I saw yesterday where MLB is considering adding another wild card team and another round to the playoffs and just no. The fucking postseason already stretches into November. It would also mean more games where the viewers were saddled with that jabbering jackass Joe Buck. "No, no- a thousand times no" as Betty Boop said.
Which has nothing to do with music, but... whatever.

Yahoo! headline: "Wendy Williams slams 'The Masked Singer' after Chaka Khan gets eliminated: 'People have no taste'"
Well, no shit? If they did, reality shows and lowbrow trash like The Masked Singer wouldn't exist.

It's been 35 years since The Breakfast Club debuted- and we still haven't found out if Barry Manilow knew Mr. Vernon raided his wardrobe.

Fulton County DA Paul Howard, Jr. tells Billboard his office will be evaluating "new evidence" involving James Brown's death in 2006.
Howard confirmed meeting with Jacque Hollander, who said she had relevant evidence regarding Brown's death. Hollander believes Brown died under suspicious circumstances and was possibly murdered, and gave the DA a bin containing items she had collected, as well as what she called pertinent information.
"She came by and provided some information about James Brown's death, and she also turned over to us some items that she had collected over the past over the years," said a spokesperson for the DA's office.
CNN reports that Hollander contacted the DA in 2019, but didn’t hear back until representatives for the network contacted the office and arranged a meeting that they were allowed to film.
