Good Tuesday morning, friends- and merry Christmas.
Fully realizing, of course, that everyone who's looking may not celebrate Christmas- so happy holidays, too- whatever holidays you may be celebrating.
I also get that not everyone's in the mood to celebrate, so don't try to force them to. Maybe a death in the family has them down, maybe they just don't care about the season, maybe they just aren't festive. Or whatever. Trying to force them into holiday joviality isn't being nice- it's a dick move. And if there's one thing this world could certainly stand less of, it's dick moves.

Ever think that Slipknot wears masks so the members won't be identified, and pummeled, when they go out in public?

Ladies (and some gentlemen, too)- get as excited as you like, I'm still thinking Aquaman looks like a terrible movie.

Late N.W.A manager Jerry Heller's lawsuit against Universal over the film Straight Outta Compton has been dismissed by a federal judge.
Heller filed suit against Universal for defamation and copyright infringement, among other claims, in 2015 and most of the the suit was tossed in 2016. When Heller died a few months after those dismissals, his estate filed an amended complaint for copyright infringement against Universal and for unjust enrichment against S. Leigh Savidge, Alan Wenkus and Xenon Pictures- who they claimed Heller collaborated with on a screenplay about NWA that formed the basis of the film.
Attorneys for the defendants asked the court to toss the suit, arguing that the estate failed to provide support the claim of co-authorship.
