Hi-ho, kiddios. Hope your Thursday is going well. Me? I'm broken down (what's new, right?). I'd already asked Mark to fill in for me this week thanks to the cold I've been fighting for about a week now. Couple that with three hours at the local doc in the box this afternoon thanks to a pinched nerve or sciatica or back trouble or whatever, and... yuck. They gave me a shot in the ass and some other anti-inflammatories, as well as some painkillers. Cross your fingers for me and hang out with Mark this weekend!
Prince's three half-siblings, deemed the legal heirs of his estate, have asked a judge to remove Comerica Bank & Trust as executors of the late rocker's estate.

A New York City law that banned dancing in most of the city’s bars and nightspots for nearly a century has been overturned by a City Council vote.
The overturn of the cabaret law, which prohibited dancing in venues that lacked a cabaret license, still needs to be signed off on by Mayor Bill de Blasio.
Councilman Rafael Espinal called the law "outdated and unresponsive and has only gotten in the way of New Yorkers’ ability to fully express themselves- even pushing dancing to underground and unsafe and unregulated spaces."
"It’s time we right this historical wrong," de Blasio said. "A repeal of the cabaret law will move toward decriminalizing dancing in New York City."
