It seems to happen every time one of our musical favorites dies (hell, it seems to happen whenever anyone dies, really, when there's an "ex" involved): Ric Ocasek's will leaves nothing for Paulina Porizkova.
The document, signed by Ocasek a few weeks before his death, reads that "I have made no provision for my wife Paulina Porizkova (“Paulina”) as we are in the process of divorcing," according to a report from the New York Post.
"Even if I should die before our divorce is final … Paulina is not entitled to any elective share … because she has abandoned me."
A filing of the late singer's include $5 million in copyrights, $100,000 in "tangible personal property" and $15,000 in cash, according to the same report. An estates attorney said there was "likely more stashed away elsewhere."
Porizkova's net worth is said to be $80 million.

David Byrne, whose American Utopia tour is on Broadway until the middle of January, already has plans for his next project.
Byrne says Theater of the Mind is inspired by historical and recent lab research according. "It will be in a warehouse, where it’s divided into a bunch of different rooms," Byrne told Rolling Stone. "A group of 16 audience members will go from room to room and experience these perceptual things. When they leave one room, another group goes in there. That way, you can get 400 people in from 6 pm to 10. You get the same number as if it were a theatre show, but you get more in small groups."
Byrne worked on a version of the show on Governors Island in New York in late 2017, but decided to open the show at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, who "have done immersive things like this before — not quite like this — but they’ve cultivated an audience in Denver."
Mala Gaonkar, who co-wrote the project, said "David and I partnered with several cognitive neuroscience labs (for a few years) to see how some of the most basic human intuitions determine how humans react."
"What we concluded was the experiments and ideas of the labs we partnered with, several of which we embedded in our narrative, seemed as engaging as any piece of theatre. Theater of the Mind will challenge the ever-changing reality written in our minds and I am thrilled for audiences to think of science and theater in a new way."
The show is scheduled to debut next August.

Lady Gaga was forced to pull our of her Las Vegas show due to a sinus infection. The cancellation came just hours before the show was supposed to begin at the Park Theater. She shared a picture of herself to social media receiving treatment and wrote: "I'm so (devastated) I can’t perform tonight for so many people who traveled to come see me. I have a sinus infection and bronchitis and feel very sick and sad.
"I never want to let you down," she added. "I’m just (too) weak and ill to perform tonight. I love you little monsters I’ll make it up to you. I promise."
No word on when she'd return to the stage.

Pete Doherty was arrested in Paris today after police allegedly caught him buying cocaine.
