Personally, I'm a-okay with the time change. I actually like leaving work when it's dark.
Anyway, what's up friends? Hope the week is treating you well so far. I went back to work yesterday after two and a half weeks of further molding the ass groove of the recliner in the bedroom to my specifications. I'm on light duty under doctor's orders, though- and that kind of makes me nuts. I have a hard time not just doing shit that needs to be done. Instead, I have to say to the "junior" staff in my department "I need you to do blah, blah, blah please" where I'd normally just get shit done. Stupid ten pound weight limit.
Anyway, let's do this, huh?

Billboard headline: "Here's how to watch the CMA's"
I'm thinking that's got to be a short-ass article: "Turn on the TV to the channel it's on."

The "Best Documentary" category at this year's Oscars will hopefully have a musical tone, as no less than seven films submitted for the honor are centered on the melody.
The submissions are: Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes, David Crosby: Remember My Name, Echo in the Canyon, Fiddler: A Miracle of Miracles, Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool, Pavarotti, Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story, The Black Godfather, The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story, Fiddlin,' Gay Chorus Deep South, The Gift: The Journey of Johnny Cash, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice, Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound, Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love, 16 Bars, A Tuba to Cuba, Western Stars, and Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation.
The folks who do the Oscars noted that several of the films have not met the requirement of being released in New York and Los Angeles yet, but added there was still time for them to do so.

Billboard headline, part 2: "Which band should reunite next?"
Featuring a whole bunch of bands I've never heard of. I vote Talking Heads, though David Byrne is adamant it will never happen.

Apologies if I've mentioned this before, but I'm flabbergasted by the fact Lisa Loeb looks almost exactly like she did in the 90s: Stunning.

It's been 35 years since Like A Virgin was released.
Nope, I don't feel old at all.

The "ultimate Britney Spears fan experience" will launch in LA at the beginning of the year- 10 rooms filled with memorabilia from her career. The exhibit takes its name from Spears' fourth album, The Zone.
The thing is, there's already an "exhibit" called The Zone in LA and, according to its website, it's the "most popular sex club for men in Southern California."
And that's just perfect.

Tool is going back on the road in 2020. Just in case you were wondering.

Pete Doherty celebrated his weekend release from a Paris jail on drug charges by getting arrested again Sunday for "violence by a person in a manifest state of intoxication."
I think that's French for "drunk and disorderly." That or dumbass.
