What am I, going for a record or something? Whatever. I've had stuff to do. Or something.
Anyway, welcome to hump-day afternoon.
I'd like to take a moment to once again thank the folks who dropped off school supplies that were donated to needy children in Gwinnett. Special thanks to Tashiki from Instacart, who donated notebooks when she delivered my groceries Sunday morning, to Kristie and Kathy for helping put all the stuff together, and to Jeanne for delivering them for us.
After talking to Jeanne, we're going to give this a shot each year, so... stay tuned?

America's favorite fast food burger comes from In-N-Out, according to a recent Market Force Information survey.
Based on my lone experience with the franchise, the company doing the survey must have asked a bunch of idiots. (I mean, if you can't manage to have your crazy-high-profile location on Fisherman's Wharf serve a decent burger, the only conclusion I can come to is you suck.) Still, I'm sticking by the "they surveyed idiots" hypothesis, because Five Guys was second.
Not surprisingly, McDonald's was ranked last.
I'm not much for fast food, usually, and fast food burgers even less, but I always thought Sonic did a pretty good job. The best? Eh. But better than either of the two "winners."
What does this have to do with karaoke or music? Not a damned thing.

Organizers have officially called off the Woodstock 50 celebration.
Woodstock 50 principal Greg Peck blamed the cancellation on "(the) unfortunate dispute with our financial partner and the resulting legal proceedings" that prevented them from having the festival near the original's site, and that organizers had "worked hard... but time simply ran short."
It was reported yesterday that headliner Miley Cyrus had pulled out of the festival, joining the Raconteurs, the Lumineers, and original Woodstock performers Santana, John Sebastian, and Country Joe McDonald on the sidelines. Headliners Jay-Z, the Dead & Co., and John Fogerty had pulled out long before this week.

The federal judge presiding over R. Kelly's child pornography and obstruction case has approved a gag order. U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber agreed with prosecutors who claimed that "(the) vast majority of our evidence has never seen the light of day."
Attorneys for Kelly and his co-defendants argued the gag order would prevented them from rebutting accusations made in public by alleged victims or witnesses.
In his ruling, the judge added that the defense could appeal, but that the concern was "people trying the case in the public domain as opposed to court."
Kelly is facing 18 counts of sexual misconduct against multiple women, as well as charges in Chicago and New York. He is being held without bond in Chicago, but is expected to be escorted by U.S. Marshals Service for an arraignment Friday in Brooklyn.
