Megadeth lead singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine says he has throat cancer.
In a message posted to the band's website this morning, Mustaine said he'd already begun treatment was "working closely with... doctors."

Hot on the heels of Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman, a bio-pic of Culture Club lead singer Boy George is reported to be on the way and- if George has his way- he'll be played by Game of Throne star Sophie Turner.
No, I'm gonna let you make the jokes there, 'cause I think she's pretty terrible. Of course, I'm only going by her role as Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke is hitting the road in North America with Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes for a series of performances starting in September.
The dates will come after the group plays dates in Europe and Asia. Tickets for the North American stops go on sale June 21 and the tour includes an October stop in Atlanta.

A post office in South Los Angeles has been renamed in honor of the legendary Marvin Gaye. The location- now called the Marvin Gaye Post Office- is on Vermont Avenue, near the University of Southern California.
The Postal Service issued a stamp in Gaye's honor in April.
