The “King of Cool” is
on the comeback trail. Well, kind of.
Dean Martin will return to
the stage in 2016 thanks to Hologram USA, kicking off a tour of the
US in Las Vegas.
“A new generation is
about to be blown away by the extraordinary presence of Dean Martin,”
said Hologram USA CEO Alki David in a press release. “He owned
Vegas like no other entertainer, and is the definition of elegance
and cool. It’s a distinct pleasure to work with Laura Lizer and the
estate to ensure we deliver Dean Martin with the utmost
authenticity.”

TMZ reports that Mariah
Carey has been hospitalized in New York City due to a severe flu.
According to the gossip
site, Carey began feeling ill last night after an appearance at Pier
1.
There was no word on
whether the illness would effect her scheduled performances at the
Beacon Theatre on over the next two weeks- or this weekend's
scheduled performance at Busta Rhymes' Hot for the Holidays.
A tribute concert to John
Lennon and his musical legacy is coming up on Saturday, December 19.
“Imagine: John Lennon 75th Birthday Concert” will air on AMC, and
feature performances from Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Juanes, John
Fogerty, and Spoon- as well as special video features from Paul
McCartney and Ringo Starr. Kevin Bacon will host.
