David Bowie fans in London have turned to crowdfunding in hopes of honoring the late genius with a three-story lightning-bolt statue reminiscent of 1973's Aladdin Sane album cover.
So far, the Crowdfunder page has raised over $28,000 towards the cause- but the estimated price is over $1.23 million, so they have a ways to go.
Organizers want to erect the memorial in Brixton, South London, where Bowie was born.
Evidently, Chris Brown has decided not to go through with his scheduled boxing match with Soulja Boy- calling their disagreements "immature."
No argument there, but I also have to wonder if Brown is afraid of hitting a man instead of a woman...
